Financial Services Guide
Version 3.0 · Last updated: 6 May 2026
This Financial Services Guide (FSG) is issued by The Rask Group Pty Ltd (ACN 622 810 995), Corporate Authorised Representative No. 1280930 of Rask Licensing Pty Ltd (ABN 32 681 073 478, AFSL 563 907). This FSG is authorised for distribution by Rask Licensing and applies to the general financial advice and dealing services The Rask Group provides under the Rask brand — including the Rask platform at app.rask.au, Rask Invest, Rask Media, Best ETFs, our education content and courses, Rask LIVE events, and our referral partnerships.
The Rask Group provides general financial advice only. We do not provide personal financial advice. Personal financial advice is provided separately by Rask Advice Pty Ltd (Corporate Authorised Representative No. 1313447) under the same AFSL — see the Advice FSG.
We receive payments from financial product providers (advertising, sponsorship, referral fees, and Rask Invest management fees). Our advice is therefore not independent, impartial or unbiased.
1. Purpose of this FSG
This guide is designed to help you decide whether to use the services we provide. It explains:
- Who we are and the financial services we are authorised to provide.
- The products and services we offer, and how each one works.
- How we and our staff are paid, and how we manage conflicts of interest.
- Our privacy and data-handling commitments.
- How to make a complaint and how disputes are resolved.

Ownership
The Rask Group is majority owned and controlled by the Raszkiewicz family, together with its Australian shareholders. We are not owned by a bank or product provider.
Rask Licensing is owned by the Raszkiewicz family, and therefore has a relationship to Rask Invest. Other than Rask Invest, Rask Licensing does not have a relationship with providers of products recommended by The Rask Group Pty Ltd that would impact the advice we provide.
The Rask Group Pty Ltd is a legally separate business from Rask Advice Pty Ltd, which has its own FSG, terms, conditions, fees, and service offering.
3. Our authorisations
Rask Licensing authorises The Rask Group, under AFSL 563 907, to provide general financial product advice and dealing services in relation to:

- Superannuation.
- Life products — both risk and investment.
- Shares and exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
- Managed investment schemes, including investor-directed portfolio services (IDPS).
- Retirement savings accounts.
We provide general advice only. We do not provide personal financial advice through The Rask Group Pty Ltd. We are not licensed to give credit advice (e.g. advice on mortgages or loans) in Australia. Neither The Rask Group Pty Ltd nor Rask Licensing are providing these services as your agent or broker.

Legacy: Rask Core
Existing Rask Core members ($100 upfront and then $49 per month, plus the discontinued Lifetime Access tier for legacy members) continue under their existing terms during the transition to the new Rask memberships. Personas inside Rask Core member content are fictional case studies. They are not real people, nor should the case studies be considered as personalised financial advice for you, your needs, your goals, or your objectives.
4.2 Rask Invest
Rask Invest is a professionally managed account service. The Responsible Entity for Rask Invest is InvestSMART Funds Management Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of InvestSMART Group Ltd (ASX:INV). All investments held inside Rask Invest are legally and beneficially owned by you, under your own Holder Identification Number (HIN).

Annual management fees are calculated daily and paid monthly in arrears. Underlying ETF fees are reflected in the share prices of those ETFs and are not collected by Rask or InvestSMART.
Before investing in Rask Invest, you should obtain and read the Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Target Market Determination (TMD), available on the Rask Invest website.
4.3 Publishing and education
- Rask Media (raskmedia.com.au) — stock commentary and financial news.
- Best ETFs (bestetfs.com.au) — ETF analysis and fund reviews.
- Free reports and newsletters — written, audio, and video reports, and our free finance newsletter.
- Education and courses — free and paid online courses, including joint-venture courses produced with industry partners. Existing courses on education.rask.com.au are transitioning to app.rask.au/learn as part of the platform migration.
Where Rask produces joint-venture educational content with third-party experts (including past collaborations with Selfwealth and the Australian Shareholders' Association), Rask owns, produces, edits, and approves the content. Rask is not responsible for the conduct of partners outside the scope of the joint-venture content itself.
Any analyst ratings or reviews on Best ETFs should not be considered as a forecast, guarantee of performance, or estimate of a fund or ETF's returns or risk.
4.4 Events and corporate programs
- Rask LIVE — paid live events and content distributed via YouTube, X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Threads. Tickets to events are typically priced on a per-event basis (for example, single tickets often under $50).
- Corporate wellness programs — financial wellness workshops delivered for Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providers and corporate clients.
- Sponsorship. Sponsors may pay fixed fees, set in advance, in exchange for speaking slots, exhibitor booths, dedicated email exposure, or brand exposure. Sponsored content is clearly disclosed as a "sponsored post".
4.5 Referral partnerships
We can connect you with trusted third-party providers. Where we receive a fee for a referral, that fee is disclosed by us, by the partner, or by both. We do not provide credit advice; the relevant credit licensee provides any credit advice you receive.
- Mortgage broking — referrals to Alcove. Alcove discloses its referral fee to you. We are not always privileged to know the outcome of your finance application.
- Financial planning — referrals to selected third-party financial planners. The Rask Group cannot guarantee the performance of advice you receive from any financial planner, and therefore we cannot be held responsible for any advice you receive from a third-party planner.
- Accounting — referrals to specialist accounting partners.
- Money coaching — referrals to money coaches.
- Life insurance — referrals to insurance experts.
- Business coaching — via the Inflection.au partnership.
4.6 Personal financial advice (separate service)
We do not provide personal financial advice through The Rask Group Pty Ltd. Personal financial advice is provided by Rask Advice Pty Ltd (CAR No. 1313447) under AFSL 563 907, delivered through the /plan workspace inside app.rask.au. Before personal advice is provided, your adviser will deliver the Rask Advice FSG and confirm the agreed scope, fees, and advice documents.
5. General advice warning
We provide general financial advice only. That means, the advice does not take into account your objectives, financial situation or needs. Because of that, you should consider if the advice is appropriate to you and your needs, before acting on the information.
In addition, you should obtain and read the PDS before making a decision to acquire a financial product.
If you don't know what your needs are, you should consult a trusted and licensed financial adviser who can provide you with personal financial product advice.
If we answer your questions, it's vitally important that you understand we do not know your financial situation and we are not licensed to provide personalised responses, advice, or instructions.
6. Documents you may receive
- Financial Services Guide (FSG) — this document.
- Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and Target Market Determination (TMD) — for Rask Invest and any other financial product offered or recommended.
Personal advice documents (Statement of Advice, Record of Advice, Ongoing Service Agreement, Fee Disclosure Statement) are issued separately by Rask Advice Pty Ltd and are described in the Advice FSG.
7. How we are paid

- Investment management fees. Rask Invest charges 0.32%–0.75% p.a. of funds under management, calculated daily and paid monthly in arrears.
- Advertising revenue on our websites, videos, and podcasts.
- Sponsored content. Sponsors pay fees that are clearly disclosed as a "sponsored post".
- Educational licensing fees from joint-venture course partners — fixed fees, set in advance.
- Referral fees from approved partners (Alcove for mortgage broking; financial-planning, accounting, money-coaching, and life-insurance referrals; Inflection.au for business coaching). Referral fees are disclosed by us, by the partner, or by both.
- Event and sponsorship fees for Rask LIVE events and corporate wellness programs.

Licensee fee
The Rask Group Pty Ltd pays Rask Licensing Pty Ltd a fixed monthly licensing fee. Rask Licensing Pty Ltd does not receive commissions or other payments from third-party financial product providers.
8. Conflicts of interest
We are not independent. Because we receive payments from financial product providers (advertising, sponsorship, referral fees, and Rask Invest management fees), and as required by law, we do not claim to be independent, impartial, or unbiased.
- Ownership. The Rask Group is majority owned and controlled by the Raszkiewicz family, together with its Australian shareholders. We are not owned by a bank or product provider.

- Sponsored content. Sponsored content is clearly disclosed on the page or in the publication.
- Referral fees. Where we refer you to a partner, we (or the partner, or both) disclose any referral fee paid.
- Group structure. The Rask Group Pty Ltd is a legally separate business from Rask Advice Pty Ltd, which has its own FSG, terms, conditions, fees, and service offering.
We manage these conflicts through our compliance framework, including governance, supervision, training, file reviews, and disclosure.
9. Privacy and data handling
To provide our services we collect personal information about you. We handle this information under the Australian Privacy Principles, our AFSL obligations, the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme, and — for cashflow / open-banking data — the Consumer Data Right Privacy Safeguards.
- We use selected service providers to operate the platform (cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform in Australia, payments via Stripe, transactional email via SendGrid, AI providers under data-handling agreements). Their own privacy policies apply where relevant.
- We apply role-based access controls, audit logging, and security monitoring to help protect personal information.
- We will never disclose personally identifiable information to third parties without your express permission, and we will not sell or lend your personal information.
For full details, see our Privacy Policy and Data Use Policy.
